Fears turned in a mix for us a couple of months ago and we’re delighted to debut her latest single – Fabric.
The Irish artists take on contemporary pop is beautiful. Wistful, observant lyricism blends wonderfully with attentive pop sensibility and playful melodies on this latest cut.
It’s a little more upbeat than what we’ve come to expect from Fears, yet maintains that same absorbing enchantment, exploring themes of personal anxiety and perception.
“You go where I go / I try to run but I feel like I’m in / slow motion / slow motion.”
“I turn and you’re there / talking to people that you think care about you / It’s a fabrication of what you want to be true.”
